The quality of the dog was my first preference.
I thought the color of Cliffords blue dogs were striking and would represent the breed well in New York where the Blue Lacy is almost unheard of.
Finally my wife is an elementary teacher and Clifford The Big Red Dog was not coming home with me. Clifford has to many adventures.
