Have you ever seen the youtube videos of some IDIOTS doing this? Very funny. They start at the lowest and work up of course. IDIOTS, I just love that word now.

OK I am among friends so I will tell you about my experience with a no-bark collar. Back in the early 90s I was in a deer camp, and I would bring my heeler pup with me. Problem was, when I left to hunt he would howl and bark and annoy the families in the camp. I borrowed a no-bark collar.
I had it at work charging up so when I left after work to head to camp it would be good to go. I just had verbal directions on how to use it. So I was fiddling around with it and testing it to see if it would work. I put it on the lowest setting and put it on my neck and started talking and making noise. NOthing. So I fiddled around some more and put it on. Still nothing. Fiddled some more and made more noise. When the lights came back on I was leaning against the wall and everybody in the lab where I worked was doubled over laughing! I had put that collar on a 10. It felt like somebody slugged me as hard as they could on the shoulder and I temporarily blacked out, and I am told that I screamed too. My brothers still tease me about it.
I got a used e-collar off of eBay and the day it came Pearl turned into a little angel so I have yet to use it on her!

LOL! Did the heeler ever wear the collar? And did it work on the dog?

Yep it worked on the heeler, he was crying as I walked away from camp and then he yelped and was quiet. Poor little guy.

Soon I hope to get one of the magical collars. Yesterday, all four Lacys were outside and I wanted them inside. All came in except Lila..she got about an arms length away from me, looked me in the eyes, I said "Lila Ferrell you better get your butt inside", and she took OFF running through the woods. She justs hunts and hunts squirrels, all by herself, until she is darn ready to come inside. Little twit..

She sounds just like one of those congressmen that doesn't listen! Maybe you can vote her out of office!

I need to revive this thread. I know different models have been discussed on several forums but could you guys please let me know what you have and why you like it? I probably can't afford the cadillac of ecollars but want to look for one that I can expand to more than one dog at a time and preferably with a tone.
