I cant tell quite what sissy is thinking but she might have either friend or foe across the chainlink... She has been up and down that thing constantly for the past ohhh, maybe 7 hours... the bunny is in a neighbors yard and sometimes she acts like she wants to catch it and other times she acts like she just wants to play... its dark now and I cant see anymore!

Pearl is always trying to catch cottontails, but that is because she sees them running away and gets all excited.

She got whacked in the face by a friend's cat, it didn't stop her. She treed it on a log pile and stayed there and barked until we took her away. Fine with me if she doesn't like cats. I hope she gets the bunnies too, they gnaw on baby fruit trees and veggies in the garden.

Pearl don't like deer either, she ran 2 of them, a big old granny nanny and her daughter of last year out of the yard.

Well honestly my dogs do chase other people's cats. My old labs actually have caught and killed several in years gone by. Which this reminds me of a funny story. Ya'll bear with me. Years ago I heard the labs on something on my property. I could tell it was serious and thinking it was a coon I grabbed my .22 pistol and went running. I found them chomping down on a big tom cat. Well he wasn't quite dead so I finished him off. About this time, my neighbor on the next 5 acres hollars to me.."what's going on?". Well I was scared that it was her cat so I hollared back "dogs got a coon but I had to finish him off". I left the cat (which happened to be brown tabby colored) to go get a shovel to bury him. But when I came back it took me forever to find him as he blended in perfectly with all the birch leaves. My heart was thumping thinking that this neighbor was going to discover her very dead, mangled cat! I did finally find him and he got a proper burial. Go dogs!!
