Why is Pearl Baying at the Roof?

Because there is a black vulture sitting there and he is waiting for us to go inside so he can come down and get a drink from the goose water trough!

For the past several months a pair of buzzards have been coming to drink in the backyard. They are actually rather cute, they half open their wings and hop around. Once one of them did a goofy dance around the other one and then climbed on her back! Other times they nibble on each others faces.

Pearl was barking and had her hackles up. At first I thought she was barking at the satellite dish. Nope, it was the buzzard sitting beside the dish!

That's downright creepy. I'd have gotten rid of those fellows PDQ. Go Pearl!

It's funny, sometimes we will look up and see them circling, so we go in the house and they land and hippity hop over to the water.
