With the onset of Summer, and much higher temps, it is vital to keep a ready supply of clean fresh water available to your dogs when they are left outside. Lacys generally love water, and will often get into a large container, such as a stock tank, if it is avaliable, and a kid's plastic swimming pool will serve the same purpose. But, at a minimum, you should have a large bowl in the shaded somewhere, where you can see when it needs refreshing...
Your dogs should also be able to get out of the direct sunlight, and somewhere with a breeze is of huge benefit to keeping them as cool as possible on hot days...

It has been really bad. Lace & Miracle pretty much stay inside most of time. I have a couple of fans put out under the carport for the rest of them. I have even clipped my heelers hair down short. They seem to be enjoying that. Oh, and I do have the swimming pool and they love to get in there and walk around!

Well, I can easily turn the fan on, but I am not putting in a pool!

Cristi was going after a pool, but got sidetracked... The three remaining pups have a ball in the bigger water bowl, which is constantly in need of refreshing from the mud on their paws! They also stick their heads completely under the water... It's fun to watch but a lot of work trying to keep it clear!
