+++ Does anybody have any idea what causes stones togrow in a dogs bladder? One of my Lacys had a bunch removed, some as large as a thumbnail around. The dog is doing fine now just trying to figure this out. +++

+++ Got a call from my vet fri. eve and the results of tests say that the stones were caused by a low grade infection. Some were as big as a dime is round. I need to keep her on antibiotics for about a month then bring her in for a urine test to see if everything is cleared up. It took an operation to remove all the stones (about 24). They were all sizes and she seems to be as active as ever. Thanks for the info. Hope we have it under control cause my retirement can't take to many more operations. Later Len +++

Len,
I sure hope that fixes it!! Not good for her to have them and not good on your pocketbook!
