We could all drink, talk about our dogs, eat, talk about our dogs, drink, talk about other people with dogs, drink, talk about how cool it is when dogs make puppies, drink, talk about how crazy some folks are, drink, etc... What do you think? Would we be infringing on any association? Or, should we set ourselves apart by actively trying to improve our breeding program? I am not sure which one is better for us. But, for some reason, I think the second option might be best for the dogs!

Clifford, wow. What meds did you forget this morning? Obviously your motive is to insult everyone that works hard for TLGDA and your alleged friends that, from my understanding, worked hard helping you find your Lacys that you own and think that you know everything about. How sad that you have sunk to these levels, instead of talking in person to Board members and officers about concerns you may have. Making fun of the Association makes a big man of you. Your mouth is overloading your ass.

Sandy, lighten up a little! I am over here on my own website, not bothering anyone... You wanna know why I wrote this? Because, I ask for some answers, and get lip service, or just get ignored, or talked down to, like I know absolutely nothing about dogs. Lacys are dogs, and although we all think they are special, they still fall under the same rules of genetics. I am not trying to start another registry, and am merely poking a little at the a$$ociation. Maybe a little prodding will get some other folks to thinking, and cause them to be more active.
Why does everyone go straight on defense when someone asks simple questions? That makes a lot of folks wonder what might be going on.
So, here's the deal... Not everyone thinks the same way, and that doesn't mean that someone who doesn't share your views is wrong! Its a two way street. Several folks keep trying to say nothing is wrong, but we don't breed perfect dogs every time. And, there are folks who want to do better than what we have now.
I haven't been personalizing anything, and other folks are also sharing their opinions over on the other board. That has to be a good thing. That thread has people, who have not even been around for some time, posting again.
I give full credit to everyone who has helped me with finding and raising my dogs. But, this is not just about my dogs. The board, and the officers have a PR problem. They need to be more visible, and their actions more transparent. I am merely one person who is expressing what a whole lot of others are thinking. Getting mad at the membership, and ultimately running folks off is not the solution. Why is the idea that someone speaks up considered so threatening? It isn't a crisis until you make it one.
I aint never been much on toting the party line, because I was given a brain, and I like to use it. The idea of making improvements in the breeding program by identifying faults must just scare the heck out of some folks, or there would not be so much resistance. And, since we do still live in the good old USA, I have the right to my own opinion.

Clifford, what with all that drinking and talking and more drinking and talking about dog breeding..before the night is over there may be some laws broken. Well at least it's a law in the state that I live in.

Sandy, I'm surprised at your offensiveness at Clifford. You are the most outstpoken female I know. Why do you not want members/breeders to express concerns with the a$$ociation? You've been an officer. You should understand the questions/concerns that have been put forth. A bit of humor isn't a bad thing. You know that.

And, if I was really mad at the TLGDA, I wouldn't call this TLGDA Lite! Marlo said that participation was low, and that is a problem. I said I thought I could get folks talking... This is it!
