Pearl is 6 months old, but still has her favorite spot in the dining room to go take a dump. I know, it is my fault not hers. It is just funny. Sort of. It always happens in the morning while I am getting ready for work. Normally I drink coffee and look at the computer while she eats, then I take a shower while she lays in front of the space heater. Then I get dressed, etc. while she lays on the bed. But she can just disappear for a split second, sneak down the stairs and....ta daaaaa ninja dump! You would never know she was gone, she is so quick and sneaky. Now I am crating her after she eats until I can let her outside. Kathy

Kathy, I had a similar problem with Otis. He did it in the living room too and I couldn't catch him. But I started paying really close attention and one day I got him red handed. I believe I had something in my hand that made a lot of noise when I smashed it against the table and I was screetching at him. It scared him so bad that he has never ever pooped in the house again. So I suggest you play the ninja and scare the bejeebers out of her.

An air horn would work, LOL!!!! That is a great idea Rebecca, I can hardly wait to catch her in the act. I will have to turn on the TV so she doesn't hear me sneaking down the stairs.

OK right now we have a toy frog with a motion sensor in him, set up over the dumping area. When the frog starts croaking we all come running. Pearl gets all distracted when she is outside so you really have to stay outside and wait a while.
