I found a bar where the man at the door would let me stand just inside, and listen to the bands. After all, this was Louisiana, and partying was a way of life, right?
To say that I was impressed with what I heard, and saw back then, would be a gross understatement...
Swamp Pop music drilled deep into my soul, and has remained there ever since.

This is great music.....I thought everyone loved Cajun music. I wish there was more of it out in main stream Americana music.

Did somebody say....BEER!!!! Haven't had one since Thursday. I love that kind of music! We bought a CD that went with a PBS show about different types of music that originated in America and Cajun music is on it. Love it!
