I am in Illinois,, and had to call Cristi to let her know that there had been a huge tornado just a few miles from the house. There were a number of folks killed... Very sad!

+++ I contacted some friends in Tallulah La. where a tornado touched down. They did not get hit but had no electricity--cell phones worked but not house phone. Tallulah is about 15 miles from Vicksburg. South La. didn't even get rain to speak of. +++

The cold wet weather killed all of my new starter bee hives. My oldest hive that I got around 100 pounds of honey out of survived. I didn't rob the other hives and they still didn't make it. So, more money spent on replacing bees...but so far the spring has been good. Gonna go check them in a bit.

Just looked on the news, and one of the tornadoes was a MILE wide!

a mile wide tornado ....... I would hate to be around that, where could you possibly hide?
