We went to McCoy bay yesterday ! Patch and Sammy ran in old and young and Sammy again is still rebelling and just refuses to work in competition ! Then Patch will not work so we did terrible . I also ran Patch with another Lacy Levi in 2 dog armature . We took 3rd place . I scored us and it should have been 2nd but o well we will take the 3rd place . Thanks, the crazy thing is it actual has a picture of Julie 's lacy Sadie on the medallion part of it. I let Rachael have the trophy Patch has a few already he likes to share !

Hang in there Camo. It doesn't sound like you were too happy with your dogs. But, hey, if I couldn't compete until 1:00AM, I might not do as well as expected. Great pic! Thanks for sharing and congrats on 3rd place!

Geez that's late!! You obviously have a lot of dedication to keep up the long hours of practice and the competition hours.
You know this may sound silly, but they put cotton balls or something of the sort in race horses ears sometimes because they don't like the noise of the crowd. I bet this is what's got Sammy bothered.

I saw the video...those bright lights may have had something to do with as well. How much practice time has she had with all the noise, lights, dogs, etc? Mine are real sensitive to all of these.
She's so young that she may just need more time and confidence in new situations and places. you know she's got the instinct; she just may not like showing to the crowd.

I'm just saying...new places and sounds can spook young horses so I use the same logic with a dog. There's something bugging her since she doesn't have a problem at Camo's bay pen. Not a matter of drive she just doesn't like the company that Camo's keeping, perhaps. ha ha ha
