Things do get dull here occassionally and being locked up in the house while it's pouring rain was a good opportunity to have some good clean fun. I've taught the dogs how to play hide and seek. This is loads of fun! I have two cheaters (Lila and Dixie) because they don't give me enough time to get in the closets completely BUT when Ben gets home he can hold those two rascals while I hide. Amos is getting left out on most of the finds since he is the most obedient and is "staying" until I call. NO FAIR says he. So far these are the places i've managed to hide in. Behind every door in the house, in the closets, in the shower, behind the dresser, behind walls and on the bed under the covers. Everyone is loving this game but me most of all, obviously. ;D

That could really come in handy some day, especially if you are like me and get lost in the woods constantly!

I have my fair share of getting lost..but it's 99% on top of a horse. Just keep wandering until I/horse finds way out. I had to use my compass and map for the first time in years several weeks ago. And I was STILL confused. I flunked my boyscout orienteering class. But if nothing else maybe it will help reinforce my desire for the dogs to keep up with me or keep checking in while hunting. Who knows but it sure is fun. We played again last night and I had a referee who kept the cheaters honest.
