I am going to eat that bear! Bring on the roasts! Season is out until fall... Hunting one really is a challenge. The terrain is rough and steep and the bear has great sense of smell. The wind was gusting and swirling. We were always one step behind.

Agree with the conservation part..just don't get the "kill the trophy" part of it. You know what I mean cause the folks I know that have heads hanging off the wall aren't doing it for the conservation part. All you hear is "look what I got".
And really..how many people eat a zebra or a baboon??

In Africa, where those animals are hunted, everything gets eaten by the locals... I am guessing that Zebra is at least as good as horse, which is considered a delicasy in France...

Yep can't import meat that might possibly be carrying infectious diseases back to US
