Clifford....he had sooo much fun! He was not happy with his first day at Gile's Island that left him with a negative score. A really nice buck came out and he got a bit nervous and anxious, and made a BAD shot. Well, when it was all said and done, he had that negative score. He had to try and make up alot of ground and knew it was pretty much impossible to catch Russell (who won it all, and was the second place finisher at the GA competition where Carson won ) so he just did the best he could. To finish in the top 5 was a great accomplishment, but he just gets frustrated knowing if he had not made that one bad shot, he could have had a chance to finish even higher. The AWA is planning on keeping these 10 finalists active with what they do in the future. They sent a photograper/videographer here to Montgomery a week or so ago, to film him on his hunting land to get his top 10 tips from the "pros". This guy travelled to all the hunting land of each contestant to get their pro tips, and think it is suppose to be aired sometime soon. It was an awesome experience for him and now he wants his own show...LOL ! He would love to make a living doing this type of thing. Who knows what doors might open up for him. If nothing else, he made alot of new friends and got to hunt on some properties that he would have never gotten to do, if not for this competition. He would leave tomorrow to live in Iowa or somewhere up there for life. Thanks for watching!!

I could tell him volumes about what it will take to do his own show... Moving to the MidWest would be a step, but he would need a huge piggy bank to get started! Just like so many kids in driveways all across the country who dream of one day playing in the NBA, there are literally thousands of young hunters who would like to make a living hunting. The sponsors are besieged with "new and innovative" offers from folks seeking their money to fund their production. Most of the bigger shows were started by people who had already established a career doing something else. And, you can go broke working for someone else on a show... And, believe me, that's the good news!
