I noticed that JJ's eyes are starting to change at 11 weeks? Has anyone else noticed their pup's eyes? I loved trying to figure out if they'll be almond colored or golden colored! It's looking like JJ will have his Momma's golden eyes. Really, it's still to early to tell. But I'm hoping he'll have Jazz's eyes!

I remember very well with Jazz and Jones. I remember being sad that the blue was leaving. But boy, Jazz's golden eyes and Jones's almond colored eyes that look mascara lined are beautiful! Jemma's eyes are a color between Jazz's and Jones's....very, very striking when she has the Lacy stare going on!

The eye color change is something to behold. Unfortunately, no one can predict what they end up with. But, all of them are beautiful!

I hope Jackson has those really golden eyes! It's cool because his eyes will match his coat. He sure is a pretty boy!

Jackson eyes seem very close to his hair coloring. They are good.

Snipers eyes are about a third of the way changed.. They started changing from the outside in.. Im out in South Dakota working . The wife called me last night to tell me Sniper had EATEN about a third of his toy tennis type ball and was throwing up. She took him to the vet this morning and they said his throat was a big red but he should be fine..They actually told her to give him some Maalox. Guess we should have took heed at all the stories about these guys eating anything they can find..

dont think tennis balls are on their diet.........give him a ball thats to big to swallow and once he starts taking it apart remove it and give him another new one.

Tennis balls are definitely on the no-go list, for that very reason! Get rid of them, please...

It wasnt actually a TENNIS ball. It came in a multi pack of dog toys the wife bought. There was a rubber fire hydrant. A couple different soft squeakies , a braided style rope and a squeaky squirrel. Apparently not all dog toys they sell are actually SAFE for your dog to play with and chew on.. She says hes doing fine this morning.. Thankfully it was a lesson learned with only a $75 vet bill for the visit and some X rays.

Actually hes been playing with that ball since we brought him home. Its the ball the kids always played fetch with.. He couldnt swallow it whole. He somehow got it torn up and started eating it the other night. Of course the wife took what he hadnt already eaten away from him when she caught him with it.. He has a bucket of toys in the front foyer and its cool to tell him to go get your toys and watch him go dig through his bucket and take out what he wants you to play with him with. Now we will be much more picky about what buy for him to play with.

He will be fine to date Sammy has eaten about 15 racket balls and 10 or so tennis balls. I try to pick them up when we are done playing . She never threw up but she gets bumps all over her body for a day or two. Reaction to the rubber I guess.

some tennis balls smell different than others and drive dogs nuts, at least they drive mine nuts so I have eliminated them from their arsenal of toys. Ive had pretty good luck with Kongs......
