One of my friends showed up to help us cull a few does at The Quail Shed when the season opened in Illinois. He made a fatal shot on his first deer, but she ran into a big field full of tall weeds, and there wasn't much of a blood trail. We brought Jones out, and he made a fast recovery on the 150 yard track! I let the shooter RUN with him, as another friend and I waited in the dark at the beginning of the track. In less than a minute, all we heard was, "Good Boy Jones!"! Justin was fired up about the deer, but spent the rest of the night praising Jones' ability to locate it. He saw him in action last year too, and wanted him on the track. Jemma will be up next, and when we get back up there it will be time to shoot some big bucks! I am so ready for that!

Cliifford, Nice to hear Justin recovered his deer.
Way to go Jones, wish I could of stayed to help out.
I hope Justin can still shoot his bow after being pulled by a motivated Jones.
