She really reminds me of Jemma! Her nose may be a bit shorter, like Jones's. From the side, I feel like I'm looking at my sweet blue, Jemma. Also, Sadie has the dark blue coat like Jemma. I'm very pleased with Sadie so far!

Thanks Everybody... I love Sadie's shinny blue coat. I never get tired of looking at it. Sadie has been working hard. She loves her romps through the woods. It amazes me how she knows the exact trail back now matter how many miles back we are. who needs a compass when you have a Lacy. Attachments:

Sadie now weighs 19lbs 4oz. One thing at a time. Squirrel hunting is after deer season. Must share a story. I was out on a local hunt a few hours from my house. We just got to our hunting site and i let Sadie out to go pee.To my left about a 1/4 mile was a large oak tree with 2 bald eagles perched on it. I went to the back of the truck to grab a 20 ft leash and my pack. When I looked up the eagles were gone. I called Sadie and she was gone. I ran around my truck frantic calling Sadie and she wouldn't come. My heart sank and I was in panic mode. I walked to the front of my truck and saw a small freshly made path through the cattail reeds. There 5 ft off shore on a little mound Sadie swam to get half eaten egg bagel sandwich. What a relief. No scolding necessary I was impressed with her nose and swimming. Attachments:

They are sneaky and quiet. We put a bell on Jackson so I can keep up with him at camp.

The pup has been a fun challenge.
Your right about sneaky and quiet, so often I call her name and she is right at my ankles.
A bell is a great idea.
I agree taking a pup in the woods is fun and you never know what your in store for.
