I was looking at all of the names it is neat that many of the Blue pups have blue in the name and none of the reds have red in the name.

There is a very simple explanation. Owners of blue pups have an inferiority complex about the fact that blue dogs are not as pretty as reds, and emphasize blue at every chance... So, it's understandable. Just go along with them... PS You might even notice they call the dogs Blue Lacys, instead of LAcy Game Dogs. I find that humoring them, especially the ones from Texas, is just easier than trying to keep setting them straight!

There is a very simple explanation. Owners of blue pups have an inferiority complex about the fact that blue dogs are not as pretty as reds, and emphasize blue at every chance... Inferior? Blue is the predisposition dominant color in the Lacy Gene pool, now how can you be inferior in you are predispostion dominant. So, it's understandable. Clifford you said, I want a blue female when you called me. Nope...no arguing...I recorded it!!!! Just go along with them... THEM...we are not aliens and have first names. PS You might even notice they call the dogs Blue Lacys, instead of LAcy Game Dogs. I find that humoring them, especially the ones from Texas, is just easier than trying to keep setting them straight! Humor them? God I feel like a shutin with Oldtimers disease now...thanks. And I call my dogs TEXAS lacy game dogs...even though I am just a Texas implant...I am married to a Native Texan though...(and he has a gun and a backhoe -under my breath) I do prefer blue because it is the predispositioned dominant color in our gene pool. And when breeding Blue you are less likely to have recessive color issues. Clifford you knew I was leaving for the weekend to go and work dogs and probably figured I wouldn't check your website before I left. Well....BUSTED. I can't have these folks on here believing Texas folks are all on meds. See y'all Monday.

See what I mean Gabe! The thinking is so entrenched that you just have to let them suffer with the delusion! Think about it this way... How many red dogs are there? How many blue dogs are there? Obviously, red lacys are the correct color for a dog... The blue ones are, well lets just let that one go... And, Tri is what happens when you breed a pretty red dog to one of those others and the red don't take! I might have to change the website to MSRedLacyDog.com if this keeps up!

I chose the blue color and added blu to the name because human Yankees are hard to train.
I figured that if i gave them half the answer, they could remember what breed the dog was.
I know how to operate a backhoe and lime is on sale this time of year....
